What is Manaaki Pathways and what do you do?
Manaaki Pathways is a disability support service dedicated to walking alongside individuals and whānau with care, respect, and dignity. We provide a range of NDIS-funded services including personal care, community access, transport, respite, and more.
Are you a registered NDIS provider?
We are in the process of becoming a registered NDIS provider. In the meantime, we are proud to support self-managed and plan-managed participants.
What areas do you service?
We currently support participants in Inner West & Eastern Suburbs NSW. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, feel free to get in touch.
Who can access your services?
We support NDIS participants with self-managed and plan-managed plans. We may also provide services to individuals seeking private support—just ask us!
What types of support do you provide?
We offer personal care, community access and participation, transport, in-home respite, assistance with daily life, and capacity-building support. Our services are tailored to meet your individual goals.
Can you help me access the community or attend appointments?
Absolutely. We can support you to attend appointments, go shopping, join community events, or simply get out and about.
Do you offer overnight or in-home respite?
Yes, we can provide flexible respite care, including overnight support in your home. This allows family or carers to take a break while ensuring you're safe and supported.
Do you support people with complex needs?
We offer personalized support and will work with you to understand your needs. If we are not the right fit, we’ll help you connect with someone who is.
How do I start support with you?
You can get started by contacting us via phone, email, or by filling out our contact form online. We’ll arrange a time to talk about your needs and how we can support you.
Do I need to have an NDIS plan to access your services?
No, you don’t. While most of our participants are NDIS-funded, we can also offer services privately or through other arrangements.
Can someone help me understand my NDIS plan or connect me with services?
While we do not provide formal Support Coordination, we’re happy to offer informal guidance and connect you with trusted coordinators or services if needed.
Are your support workers qualified and screened?
Yes. All our workers hold current NDIS Worker Screening Checks, police checks, First Aid/CPR certifications, relevant experience and qualifications.
Can I choose my own support worker?
Yes. We value your right to choose who supports you. We’ll work with you to find the right match and provide consistency where possible.
Do you support culturally diverse participants or First Nations and Maori Pasifika communities?
Yes. We are committed to culturally safe and inclusive practice, and we honour the cultural values, language, and identity of all our participants.
How are services charged?
Our services are aligned with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. We’ll always be transparent and clear about costs.
Do you offer service agreements?
Yes. We’ll provide you with a simple, easy-to-read service agreement that clearly explains what supports we’ll deliver, how they’ll be delivered, and how billing works.
